Wuji maintenance moxibustion is a therapeutic method for treating chronic diseases.

Wuji Maintenance Moxibustion is the core of my therapeutic technique. It was developed by me after more than twenty years of clinical experience, during which I rigorously evaluated nearly all moxibustion methods documented in ancient medical texts. Over the past four decades and more, its efficacy has been consistently demonstrated through treatment outcomes in countless patients.

Does the needle prick hurt?

Many people get goosebumps at the mere thought of needles being inserted into their bodies. No matter what kind of needle—whether it’s an injection needle, a sewing needle, or a bee’s stinger—as long as it pierces the skin, which is one of the most sensitive parts of the human body, it’s bound to hurt.

Moxibustion is an effective method for enhancing the body’s resistance.

Moxibustion is an effective means of enhancing the body’s resistance. No physician, no tonic medicine can achieve such an effect. The substances produced in the skin after a mild burn are known in technical terms as heterologous proteins—abnormal proteins that, if absorbed in excess, can easily trigger allergic reactions or illness. However, small amounts of these heterologous proteins can function as antibodies within the body. Diseases such as smallpox and chickenpox are contracted only once in a lifetime precisely because the body produces heterologous proteins (antibodies) in response.

What is moxibustion?

Like most traditional medical systems, moxibustion boasts a remarkably long history that can be traced back to the dawn of civilization. The classic Chinese medical text, the Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine, already contains records of moxibustion. As a systematic and globally influential medical reference work, it even discusses the origins of moxibustion.
